Chevrolet recently unveiled the 2019 Corvette ZR1, presenting the automotive world with a supercar that boasts the greatest power, unsurpassed track performance and most-advanced technology in the long, proud production history of the Corvette. The 2019 Corvette ZR1, which should be available for purchase next spring, was showcased in a vibrant Sebring Orange design package that also encompassed orange calipers, rocker and splitter accent stripes, seat belts and interior stitching, with a bronze aluminum interior trim.

The driving force of the Corvette is a LT5 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates the highest output ever registered for a Chevrolet production vehicle, manufacturing an SAE-certified 755 horsepower and 715 pound-feet of torque and capable of hitting a top speed of over 210 mph. The LT5 engine can be matched to either a 7-speed manual transmission or, in a ZR1 first-ever, an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The ZR1 will be offered with your choice of two aero packages: a standard rear Low Wing that offers the highest top speed numbers, or an available adjustable High Wing that helps you achieve the quickest track times thanks to increased downforce.

In a press release, Mark Reuss, Executive Vice President, Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain, commented, "I’ve never driven a Corvette like this before, and nobody else has either, because there’s never been one like this before. Its unprecedented performance puts all other global supercars on notice that the ZR1 is back."
