Are you in the market for a new SUV or truck in Baltimore? Here at Koons White Marsh Chevrolet, we've got a great selection of vehicles to interest you. From compact crossovers to large SUVs like the Tahoe and the full-sized Silverado truck, we have plenty of options for you to consider.

Chevy SUVs

The Chevy Trax is a great choice for buyers on a modest budget who want a compact vehicle. It features a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Its small size makes the Trax well-suited for city driving. Despite its compact size, there's lots of legroom and headroom for adult passengers in both rows. Behind the rear row, you'll also find over 18 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

The Equinox adds some more space in the cabin, with over 30 cubic feet of storage behind the rear row. Front and rear-seat passengers also benefit from excellent legroom for long drives. There's a little more power under the hood too, with the Equinox shifted around by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capable of putting out 170 horsepower. A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 252 horsepower is an optional extra if you'd like better acceleration. Back inside the cabin, the Equinox features a 7-inch infotainment screen, a wireless hot spot, and four USB ports.

The Chevy Blazer is another two-row SUV with a slightly more powerful base engine than the Equinox. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine cranks out 193 horsepower. You can upgrade to a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or a 3.5-liter V-6 to take advantage of more power. Inside, the Blazer boasts an 8-inch infotainment screen, a six-speaker audio system, and a wireless hotspot. There's comfortable seating for up to five people and over 30 cubic feet of storage at the rear for your suitcases or groceries.

The Chevy Traverse is an ideal choice if you want a mid-sized SUV with a third row of seats. There's enough cabin space for adult passengers to sit in any row, and you'll still find over 23 cubic feet of storage behind the third row. There are two complete sets of LATCH connectors in the second row for installing child car seats. AS for entertainment, the Traverse possesses a seven-inch screen, six USB ports, and Bluetooth connectivity. Like in most Chevy SUVs, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, making it easy for you to link your phone with the infotainment system. The only engine available across the Traverse lineup is a V-6 capable of churning out 310 horsepower.

For those of you looking for the added comfort provided by a vast interior, you'll want to choose between Chevy's two large SUV options. The Tahoe seats eight in its standard configuration, but this can drop to seven if you opt for captain's chairs in the second row. For the 2021 model, Chevy boosted the legroom in the third row by an impressive 10 inches, making these seats just as comfortable for adult passengers as anywhere else in this cavernous cabin.

Child seats can also be installed using LATCH connectors in the second row and tether anchors in the third row. You'll find over 25 cubic feet of storage behind the third row. The base engine is a 5.3-liter V-8 with 355 horsepower, but you can upgrade to a 6.2-liter V-8 with 420 horsepower to experience this big SUV in full flight. If fuel economy is a major concern for you, try the 277-horsepower turbodiesel engine instead.

The Suburban is the SUV to choose for the maximum cabin space. Even with a full load of eight passengers, you get over 41 cubic feet of storage at the rear. In two alternative configurations, you can either boost your capacity to nine passengers by adding a middle seat in the front row or reduce it to seven by including captain's chairs in the second row. The Suburban comes standard with a big 10.2-inch infotainment screen. The engine lineup is the same as the Tahoe.

Chevy Trucks

The Silverado 1500 is Chevy's best-known truck and one of the most familiar vehicles in its powerful lineup. With three bed lengths and three cab options, this versatile full-sized pickup can be configured to meet a wide range of needs, whether you're looking for a work truck, or a pickup capable of carrying the family and cargo at the same time.

The Regular cab seats three people in a single row. If you need a work truck with the largest amount of storage capacity, you should pair the Regular cab with the extended cargo bed, which measures eight feet two inches in length. You can also choose a Double cab or Crew cab, which both have a second row of seats. The Crew cab provides more legroom and comfort, but the Double cab should be just fine if you only transport passengers for short distances. The larger cabs are only available with the two shorter truck beds. The shortest of the two measures 5 feet 10 inches in length, while the standard bed is 6 feet 7 inches long. The Silverado has an upper towing limit of 13,300 pounds.

The Chevy Colorado may suit your needs if you want the benefits of a truck but don't want to drive a vehicle as large as the Silverado. The Colorado offers you the choice of a 6-feet-2-inch-long bed or a 5-feet-2-inch box. There are two cab choices: the Extended Cab, which has half-sized rear doors and seats four, and the Crew Cab, which features full-sized rear doors and seats five. When properly equipped, the Colorado can tow up to 7,700 pounds.
